Locked Vision is designed so that your usage stays on your device. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do with information.
None. Locked Vision has no account system, no login, and no user profiles. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information. We cannot identify you.
The app saves the following locally. It never leaves your phone, and deleting the app erases it:
The app periodically downloads its catalog of content rules from our hosting provider (Supabase). This is a read-only request. We send no information about you with it. As with any internet request, the receiving server automatically processes your IP address in order to reply; we do not store or analyse it.
Locked Vision includes a browser view for visiting third-party services such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. When you sign in to or browse one of these services through the app, you are interacting directly with that company. Your activity there — including any cookies, logins, and data they collect — is governed by their privacy policy, not this one. We do not read, intercept, record, or transmit the contents of those sessions, and we have no access to your accounts or credentials.
The app modifies how those pages appear on your screen (for example, hiding a recommendations feed) by applying display rules locally within the browser view. This happens entirely on your device.
Locked Vision is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
